CLEVELAND, OH (August 30, 2008) - Four Case Western Reserve University women’s cross country runners finished in the top ten as the Spartans won [28 points] the ten-team Bill Sudeck Classic [5k] this afternoon at the Valleevue and Valley Ridge Farms in Hunting Valley, Ohio.

It was Case Western Reserve’s second consecutive Sudeck Classic triumph.  The Spartans host their annual Alumni Meet September 13 at The Farm and then head to Calvin College on September 20.

The senior duo of Kristen Bowhers (Rochester, NY-pictured) and Britta Kumley (Solon, OH) finished second [19.11.00] and third [19:13.00] respectively while Justine Jeroski (Murrysville, PA) and Andrea Fischione (Export, PA), both sophomores, finished fifth [19:29.00] and seventh [19:46.00], respectively.
